In short
This site stores one thing in your browser for everyone: your answer to the cookie question. It stores a random ID for counting visits only if you say yes. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies, and the typefaces are served from this site, not from Google.

Your choice
You can change your answer here or from "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page. Saying no deletes the visitor ID straight away.

Everything the site stores
- A cookie holding your answer to the cookie question, so you are not asked on every page. Kept for six months. Strictly necessary: it only remembers your choice.
- A random ID in your browser's local storage, used to count unique visitors. Set only if you say yes, and deleted if you say no.
- Kept in this tab's session storage when you press "Send a brief with this figure", so the figure appears in the brief. Gone when you close the tab. Strictly necessary for the feature you asked for.
- A secure cookie that keeps the site's owner signed in to the admin panel for up to 14 days. Never set for visitors.

Removing them
Your browser's settings let you see and delete cookies and site data for this site at any time. Deleting them simply means you are asked the cookie question again.
